We recently renovated our backyard and were on the lookout for the perfect shade solution. After trying a couple of other products which didn’t quite live up to the hype, we stumbled upon this one. Installation was a breeze, and the quality is top-notch. Our backyard BBQs have been so much more enjoyable without the relentless sun beating down on us. Plus, it's become the talking point when we have guests over. Highly recommend!

After a long delivery delay, it finally did show up and we have it installed. I have not yet installed the heaters or the privacy screens. But I’m very happy with the quality and aesthetic and functionality of the louvers. The installation instructions weren’t very clear. But I think it’s going to work out nicely for us.

It all went well. I would improve the install instructions a bit especially with respect to the installation of the slider for the pulldown screen.

I have installed the pergola but I haven’t put on the shades yet. Went together easy and quickly. I can’t wait until early summer so I can enjoy our deck. The sun is blazing back there in the afternoon and this pergola should do the trick. Shades will be on the Lind side away from the house.

When I started this process of making my summer home into my permanent home I knew I needed a new deck and although I love the sun I don’t like sitting outside in it. I called a couple of local companies who did rainproof pergolas and their prices were close to $30,000. When I stumbled upon your advertising it looked like just what I needed except at that time Hanso didn’t have white ones. I called to verify that and was told in the fall, Hanso would. I waited and placed my order after speaking to someone at Hanso. Your customer service is extraordinary. My son cautioned me that this company was a scam because it seemed too good to be true. Although it took a long time to get my pergola I am thrilled with the pergola. I am 58 years old and I was able to put 90% of this together on my own. I have no experience with this kind of work, but still managed to successfully put it together. The louvre opens and closes in a second and with no effort. As happy as I am with the pergola I wanted to make sure you understood how grateful I am for your support, empathy and helpfulness in securing me with receiving this. I am sure you were tired of my phone calls, but you were always gracious about them. I loved that every call was reiterated in an email so there was verification of what was discussed. I just wanted you to know that I really appreciate your service and this company. I am still in the process of renovating my home, but this is one project I can now check off the list. I have no doubt that future orders are coming your way based on how many neighbors have already admired my new deck and pergola.

As for delivery and install, after all the issues with getting the pergola to the US, delivery was great. They called to let us know when it was going to be delivered and got to us without a problem. Installing on the other hand was a nightmare. My contractor set it up for us and it took way longer than expected, the 4 hours mentioned in the website. It took them probably 16-18 hours to get it up and running. Some things that took a long time:
1. taking all the protective plastic out
2. tightening the bolt for every slat, as that can't be done with a screwdriver
3. He mentioned that some of the instructions were not clear/wrong.

Other than that, we love our pergola, has been working fantastic and we get a lot of compliments. We know want to order a screen for the side we thought we wouldn't need."

He got multiple issues about the shades and louvers but customer support was able to assist him with his concerns. He rated that he is so satisfied.

I've seen all the ones they sell at Costco and I've looked them up. Other pergolas, but there is nothing like yours and you see that tiny house in the background. It is it perfectly the the the metal.
Yes, I I thought. It's like, you know, a seamless extension, a seamless, seamless background, yeah.
It looks perfect. It was perfect for that tiny house. I bought it for the tiny. And it was it just it. Just blends really well with it and I was really, really happy that I picked that that one. Perfect.

We love our Pergola and the added bonus of putting up ourselves has given us extra satisfaction. It took my 16 year old daughter and I about 4 hours to assemble it. I do consider myself a bit of a “handy lady” but as advertised the assembly was not difficult at all. We literally had dinner under it the day we built it! Thank you Hanso for providing both a great product and experience for my family!

Final delivery was great, and they are enjoying it so far. Installation was pretty straight forward but need a help from another person and took him 6 hours to put it together.

I purchased a Hanso 8' x 10' pergola for my patio.
I am incredibly happy with it. It is beautiful and easy to use. The installation was bit more complex than indicated but worth every bit of the time and energy needed to construct it. There were a few scratches on the aluminum in shipment. I was sent an excellent touchup kit that worked well. Hanso is an excellent product. I give it my highest recommendation.

So far so good. I just ordered two pergolas and was a little concerned when I didn't receive any email communication during the following two weeks. Since then I have receive prompt communication. I am looking forward to receiving my pergolas (hopefully soon).

After inviting another company out to give me a quote for a motorized 10' x 13' pergola which came to $55k (gulp), I decided to go forego the motors and do our own assembly. At first I researched tons of pergolas from the usual el-cheapo places (Home Depot, Lowe's, Wayfair, etc.), but the reviews were mixed and the brands not trusted. I found Hanso and was far more impressed with their quality (be sure and read about the differences in metals Hanso uses vs. cheaper companies'). Ordering was easy, delivery took kind of a long time but so does most everything these days. I imagine they were having trouble keeping up because their quality warrants the somewhat higher price, so their product is very popular. I'm sure they'll get that worked out (if they haven't already). Assembly was pretty easy for my two teenaged sons, and our deck has a whole different vibe now! It feels like an extension of our home instead of a barren desert of heat and glare. LOL. You'll pat yourself on the back once you see it in all its glory in your outdoor space!

After a year of use, the Hanso Pergola has proven its worth. It has faced down seasonal storms without so much as a scratch, a testament to its durable construction and quality materials. Customer service was a bit slow at times, but always answered my questions eventually when I called.

The buying process was easy. They answered all my questions that I had on installation on my deck. Any problems that I had installing the pergola, they answered quickly. Had in up in one day and fully operational in two. Everyone who sees it is impressed by the look and quality.

Their product is great as advertised and so is their customer service. There was a mistake with their shipment but they promptly sent the replacement and handled our concerns professionally.

Took a long time to get pergola but worth it. Missing parts came right away. Good support.
