Hansø Aluminum Pergola Kit

We ordered two 10x10 Hanso pergolas in mid June of 2025. The pergolas were promised in 14 weeks but were not delivered until Dec 2026 and then the wrong size shades were shipped! The construction of the pergolas was straight forward and my husband and two sons knocked out the project in about 4 hours. The replacement shades arrived in April 2026 and we finally have our outdoor space completed albeit the time to receive all the pieces to this order was ridiculous. Hanso gave us a credit with which we ordered two strands of lights and a table top fire pit; we are still waiting on the table top fire pit. Customer service did their best to work through the circumstances and we finally can enjoy our space. Hanso makes a really nice product and we love how the pergolas look in our backyard. It completely matches our aesthetics and compliments our paver patio. I would recommend this product but warn that patience is key when dealing with this company.

We ordered the 10x13 model in October and received it in 4 weeks. Weather didn't permit setup till yesterday (4/11/26). Assembly was tedious, but every bolt, track, and shade fit perfectly. The engineering is superb. In its 1st 24 hours, it has attracted 3 neighbors calling to ask how they can get one. The track lighting is a nice touch. We love it!

We just had our Hanso pergola installed and couldn’t be happier with the result. The quality and finish of the materials are exceptional and clearly built to last. Just as impressive was the NAI installation team — first-rate, professional, and extremely conscientious throughout the entire process. Ordered the 10x10 Hanso pergola during a Black Friday sale back in 2024. It was a long wait for delivery (May 2025), but everything was delivered in excellent shape. Directions were easy enough to follow and the build was simple. I just took my time and didn't rush the process. The construction of the pergola is awesome. Everything fit together without any issues. We had our landscape contractor come out and pour concrete footings underneath our paver patio, so the pergola is properly bolted to the ground. We love it! Love how it looks in our backyard. It has the modern look and feel that we wanted and matches our backyard furnishings and aesthetic perfectly. I would definitely recommend this product.

We are so impressed with the quality of this pergola! The set up was relatively easy for a 79, 78 and a 75 year old. I do think the instructions could be a little clearer or provide a more detailed video. But it is up!

We are in LOVE with our yard now with the 13x13 Hanso Pergola! We added 2 shades for the summer sun and an outdoor tv, extending the living space of our home. Our pergola lets us enjoy time with family and friends, along with a nice fire in the evenings. Our outdoor life went from boring and uneventful to a place where we are making memories and truly enjoying life! The Hanso team is easy to work with and they truly care about their products. We recently had 65mph winds and the pergola didnt budge! The construction is like no other, proving it is the best one out there, amongst many. If you are considering improving your time outdoors, you will not be disappointed!

We selected the largest percola available at the time to serve as a spa covering. There is plenty of room underneath for both the spa and other furniture. Everything was packed with care and arrived in great condition. Was easy to assemble with 2 adults. Highly recommend purchasing. This is our second pergola from Hanso.

We needed a strong patio cover for the high desert winds. We chose the 10 x 10 model. It's very sturdy and perfect for sun shelter during the days and for viewing the stars at night with the louvers open. It's tall enough that it doesn't obstruct the view from inside. Would highly recommend!

My husband and contractor were able to set up the pergola and 2 screens by working straight for 9 hours in one day. (The parts are heavy). We have kept the slats closed and it has provided lovely shade during the summer. The gutter worked well during recent rain. We rest there during the day and ur family enjoys congregating there in evening. Grateful we made the decision to get Hanso.

So far so good, we’ll see how it fairs through a Montana winter. The wait was excessive, but customer service truly did their best to pacify me through the whole process. Customer service gets an A+! I Packaging was phenomenal, nothing broken, with no missing pieces. We had friends help with the installation, several comments about the shade instructions that were not ideal but we got them up and they work perfectly.

We love our new pergola. The main structure was shipped and received within the timeframe quoted upon purchase. Some of the shades came later put the team at Hanso kept us informed of their status until received.

The assembly process was straightforward and the completed structure is stable and strong. The louvres (manual type) operate smoothly and are water tight when closed. The pergola is the perfect size for our new outdoor reclining sola, two recliners and a fire pit table. We will use this outdoor room for three seasons in NY. The heat produced by the fire pit table is held in by the sun shades.

The customer service team was responsive and responded quickly to all of my inquiries along the way.

Last week we installed a 13'x19' Hanso Pergola on our back patio and now we are wishing we had done this years ago! So far, this is the hottest week of the year here in SoCal, and because of our Hanso pergola, we are able to be outside in the wonderful shade enjoying the breeze and our backyard birds. It did take us longer to assemble and install than we had thought it would, but we are very satisfied with the quality of the hardware and the finished aesthetic.

We recently completed the excavation and construction of our backyard. I considered a number of alternatives before deciding to invest in a Hanso pergola. I considered ones that were far less expensive, but I decided to invest in a high quality pergola that would last and hold up to New England winters. I bought a 13x10 black pergola with electric roof, lighting and two side shades for privacy. It is sturdy, beautiful, and functional.
My main purpose in purchasing was to protect my furniture from the elements, but on hot days I have enjoyed the shade. The electric roof is a great feature and I enjoy opening it to see the sky and closing it to avoid the rain. I am very happy with the Hanso pergola. It adds an element of luxury to our backyard.

After rearranging the furniture to pull it in 1.5 feet from the edge of the pergola, it does a much better job of protecting the furniture from the rain.

Works well! Very solid and modern.

I ordered the 13X19 white Pergola. I received it in October and had it installed early November. I can’t wait to really use it this year. It is beautiful . This was the perfect addition to my yard. Will provide the shade that I desperately needed. the quality of the pergola is the best. So worth the money.

I love the gazebo--the installation was simple, well laid out and with quality materials---I just have positive things overall to say. I have two gripes that I hope they will address. One is that the dimensions given are hard to deduce if they are from the edge of the legs or the edge of the mounting plate and it would have been nicer to have center-to-center dimensions from leg to leg to properly place the caissons/mounting substrate. The other is the LED light kit. Mine is a very cool white LED which is very harsh at night on the eyes--it also is not dimmable, which makes it a waste of time and money to me. It is mounted on the side of the gutters facing out in lieu of down, so it is impossible to get out of the glare. 2700K would have been much better, even 3000K, but mine is bluer--probably in the 4000-5000Kelvin range and frankly isn't appropriate. I will have to relight the entire structure and take it off the motor control to make them dimmable.

We recently renovated our backyard and were on the lookout for the perfect shade solution. After trying a couple of other products which didn’t quite live up to the hype, we stumbled upon this one. Installation was a breeze, and the quality is top-notch. Our backyard BBQs have been so much more enjoyable without the relentless sun beating down on us. Plus, it's become the talking point when we have guests over. Highly recommend!

After a long delivery delay, it finally did show up and we have it installed. I have not yet installed the heaters or the privacy screens. But I’m very happy with the quality and aesthetic and functionality of the louvers. The installation instructions weren’t very clear. But I think it’s going to work out nicely for us.

It all went well. I would improve the install instructions a bit especially with respect to the installation of the slider for the pulldown screen.

I have installed the pergola but I haven’t put on the shades yet. Went together easy and quickly. I can’t wait until early summer so I can enjoy our deck. The sun is blazing back there in the afternoon and this pergola should do the trick. Shades will be on the Lind side away from the house.

When I started this process of making my summer home into my permanent home I knew I needed a new deck and although I love the sun I don’t like sitting outside in it. I called a couple of local companies who did rainproof pergolas and their prices were close to $30,000. When I stumbled upon your advertising it looked like just what I needed except at that time Hanso didn’t have white ones. I called to verify that and was told in the fall, Hanso would. I waited and placed my order after speaking to someone at Hanso. Your customer service is extraordinary. My son cautioned me that this company was a scam because it seemed too good to be true. Although it took a long time to get my pergola I am thrilled with the pergola. I am 58 years old and I was able to put 90% of this together on my own. I have no experience with this kind of work, but still managed to successfully put it together. The louvre opens and closes in a second and with no effort. As happy as I am with the pergola I wanted to make sure you understood how grateful I am for your support, empathy and helpfulness in securing me with receiving this. I am sure you were tired of my phone calls, but you were always gracious about them. I loved that every call was reiterated in an email so there was verification of what was discussed. I just wanted you to know that I really appreciate your service and this company. I am still in the process of renovating my home, but this is one project I can now check off the list. I have no doubt that future orders are coming your way based on how many neighbors have already admired my new deck and pergola.

I've seen all the ones they sell at Costco and I've looked them up. Other pergolas, but there is nothing like yours and you see that tiny house in the background. It is it perfectly the the the metal.

It looks perfect. It was perfect for that tiny house. I bought it for the tiny. And it was it just it. Just blends really well with it and I was really, really happy that I picked that that one. Perfect.

We love our Pergola and the added bonus of putting up ourselves has given us extra satisfaction. It took my 16 year old daughter and I about 4 hours to assemble it. I do consider myself a bit of a “handy lady” but as advertised the assembly was not difficult at all. We literally had dinner under it the day we built it!
